Aliwal Shoal Umkomaas Guest House Bed & Breakfast is a Guest Houses B&B Accommodation situated in the Aliwal Coast region surrounding the Aliwal Shoal on the KwaZulu-Natal Durban South Coast in South Africa. Aliwal Shoal is rated as one of the top ten Scuba diving dive sites in the world and is home to many Fish, Dolphins, Turtles, Manta Rays and Shark species. Sharks visit the reef frequently, especially during the Sardine Run in the winter months of June and July. Aliwal Shoal is a safe dive however to increase your chances of seeing Sharks you are advised to do a specialist Shark dive where depending on the time of year you will see Tiger Sharks, Zambezi Bull Sharks, Ragged Tooth Sharks, Raggies or Sand Tiger Sharks, and the ever present Black Tip Reef Sharks.
